The Basement Squatter
You go down to the basement to grab that box of old winter coats. The single bulb flickers. You turn the corner and walk right into it. A sticky, invisible thread wrapping around your face. You flail. You wipe your face frantically, swatting at the air like a crazy person. Then you look up. Sitting in the corner of the ceiling is a spider the size of a small Buick. It is just staring at you. Judging you.
Now you can never go in the basement again. The house belongs to the spider now. Okay, maybe that is an overreaction, but living in fear of eight-legged squatters is miserable. You retreat upstairs, heart pounding. Later, you arm yourself with a broom and a heavy winter boot. You creep down the stairs, ready for battle. The spider is gone. That is somehow infinitely worse. Where did it go? Is it in the box of coats? Is it under the stairs? Is it waiting above the doorway?
You start seeing shadows move out of the corner of your eye. You violently shake out your towel before taking a shower. You double-check under the pillows before getting into bed. Your own home is giving you the creeps. Buying a can of bug spray and creating a toxic cloud in your basement is not going to solve the problem. Spiders are stubborn. They will just retreat into the tiniest cracks and wait for the chemical fog to clear.
Stop checking your shoes every morning. Stop treating your storage space like a haunted house. Get your total peace of mind back. The experts at fast-pest-control.com know exactly how to clear out the webs, eliminate the food sources bringing the spiders inside, and send the creepy crawlers packing for good.
